Thanks to Dallas' 19-16 win in Washington, the 5-7 Giants woke up Tuesday morning tied atop the NFC East with the aforementioned Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles.

Incredibly, the Tony Romo-less Cowboys, at 4-8, remain in the hunt as well.

Boomer was in Washington for the Monday night affair, calling the game on Westwood Radio alongside Kevin Harlan, but he made it back in time to take his seat in the Allstate Studio next to his radio partner/BFF Craig Carton.

The Dynamic Radio Duo got things started by discussing the clouded playoff picture in the NFC, including an East race that has defied logic.

As for the Jets, they have "the luxury of sitting at 7-5," as Craig so eloquently put it, and will welcome quarterback Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans to MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Craig then threw down the gauntlet, stating Mariota, who is having a fine rookie season, "doesn't worry him a bit."
