Boomer & Carton: Red Sox Set Market, Fitzpatrick Gives Jets The Edge

With the news of David Price getting a very lucrative contract to pitch for the Red Sox for the foreseeable future, hot stove baseball was at the top of Boomer & Carton's list when they opened Wednesday's edition of their wildly popular radio program.

What might the deal mean for the Yankees? What about other free agent pitchers and perhaps most importantly, the overall good of the sport? The guys covered all of it.

Boomer and Craig later shifted gears to the highly anticipated Jets-Giants game, which will take place this Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Craig has been very busy all week studying for the game, so he went ahead and shared some of his findings, the most notable being that the Jets hold the upper-hand at the quarterback position.

Also discussed was Kobe Bryant's final game in Philly, which concluded with the 76ers earning their first win of the season. Next up for the Sixers is the Knicks, whom Craig is confident will win in blowout fashion.
