This Football Friday edition of the Morning Extravaganza opened up with Boomer and Craig reflecting on the Knicks' loss to the Rockets last night, marking the third straight defeat for Carmelo Anthony & Co. against former Knickerbocker Jeremy Lin, who finished with 21 points off the bench, providing enough of a spark to remind Boomer that he still has a touch of Linsanity.
From the return of 'Linsanity' to the newest member of Rex's Gang Green, as the Jets sign Ed Reed -- and the future Hall of Famer is expected play this Sunday up in Buffalo.
Craig was grinning ear-to-ear with the news, having pleaded with the Jets to make the move on Wednesday's radio program, if for no other reason then to 'send a message' to the fan base, but he does believe he will contribute. Boomer on the other-hand, he isn't sure how much Reed has left, but at the same time he has now doubt that Reed will ultimately have a positive influence moving forward.
