Boomer & Carton: New York Sports 'Blandscape' - Not A Pretty Sight

The Giants reached a new low Sunday afternoon, coughing up a 21-0 lead to the lowly Jaguars before going on to lose 25-24, dropping to 3-9 in the process.

So with the Jets busy preparing to take on the Dolphins in in primetime on Monday night, it was the hapless Giants that received the majority of Boomer & Craig's attention while they were kicking off this edition of the Morning Extravaganza.

The bottom line is that it's not a great time to be a New York sports fan, which the Dynamic Radio Duo did a good job documenting.  Both Tom Coughlin and Rex Ryan could lose their jobs, and the Knicks and Nets both stink.  The hockey locals are doing alright, but it's been established that "nobody cares about hockey," so there's that.

Making matters worse for Jets fans, Mark Sanchez is proving to be a legit quarterback calling signals for Chip Kelly down in Philly.

Shifting focus to the West Coast for a moment, Boomer is confident in his belief that the Oakland Raiders and  St. Louis Rams will bolt from their respective cities for the bright lights of Los Angeles. Tell your friends, tell your friends!
