Prior to Jerry Recco's first update Wednesday morning, Craig talked about the humor he finds in the story gracing the back cover of today's edition of the New York Post. The story has the chances of Tom Coughlin returning to coach the Giants next season at 50-50 -- really going out on a limb there.
Anyway, Jerry has a reputation of going out on a limb. Actually he has a reputation for making mistakes. Either way, his well-prepared, informative and entertaining update began with the Knicks' fruitless effort in Milwaukee, which concluded with a 117-113 loss. Following the game, J.R. Smith made some very telling comments with regards to the Knicks' ongoing struggles.
Plus, Craig believes that Lionel Hollins is going to get things going for the Nets, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on public opinion influencing NFL penalties and the Steelers release LeGarrette Blount. The Browns do the same with Ben Tate, and Craig give "Paula the boring teacher" a test after she tries to call out his radio partner...
