Boomer & Carton: Jerry's Update; Craig Doesn't Think Sanchez Is Really Hurt
Jerry got right to it this morning, updating the particulars from last night's 6-5 Yankees win over the White Sox. The Bombers completed the three-game sweep and kept the momentum going for their four-game series with the Red Sox, which gets underway tonight in the Bronx.
In an effort to remain focused, Boomer tried to 'face time' his little buddy Craig, but that only created another distraction for poor Jerry. To his credit, Jerry plowed through the antics long enough to get through the rest of his report, including the Mets' 5-2 loss to the Braves and the latest drama surrounding the Jets, which brings us to Craig's take on the injury that is currently sidelining Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.
According to Craig, Sanchez is no longer hurt and could play, but the Jets' brass does not want him to. Boomer disagrees. Discuss amongst yourselves...
