Boomer & Carton: Jerry's Monday Morning Update Extravaganza
Jerry Recco was primed and ready to do his thing this Monday morning. After it was established that Craig was going to be footing the breakfast bill this morning after losing a wager off the Jaguars, Jerry got started.
First up on the docket, the Jets -- the 2-1 Jets. Despite 20 penalties, Rex Ryan's Gang Green managed to defeat the Bills by a score of 27-20. Geno Smith hooked up with Santonio Holmes on a 69-yard touchdown, which proved to be the game-winner.
Plus, the Giants got steamrolled by the Panthers, falling in Carolina 38-0. Afterward Eli Manning was at a loss of words, while his teammate Antrel Rolle summed things up using just one. Jerry provided the rest of the NFL scores from Week 3, including the Bengals' exciting 34-30 win over the Packers.
