Before allowing Jerry Recco to flex his golden pipes, Boomer and Craig stressed the importance of guarding the paint with regards to the Knicks' effort against the Rockets - or any team for that matter - since they have been without the services of Tyson Chandler, the Knickerbockers' rock in the middle.
Jerry then got started with the Jets, after Rex Ryan was reunited with his old safety Ed Reed yesterday after the future Hall of Famer inked a deal with Gang Green. Reed sounded thrilled to be back in the saddle with Rexy and is expected to play Sunday afternoon up in Buffalo. Reed's new teammate Calvin Pace used his media session as a platform to call out the non-believers - pure speculation, but one has to imagine Rex was somewhere smiling.
Moving it along to the Giants, as they will welcome the Packers and their third-string quarterback Scott Tolzien to MetLife Stadium. It looks like Big Blue will likely be without the services of Jason Pierre-Paul, who is nursing a sore shoulder.
Plus, the Colts beat the Titans 30-27 to kick off NFL Week 11, the Knicks got 45 from Melo, as well as a healthy dose of 'Linsanity' and therefore lost to the Rockets 109-106, Islanders fell to the Kings and finally, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights edged out the Yale Bulldogs for a 72-71 win...
