Boomer and Craig were back at it again, kicking off their 2014 campaign talking sports in the brand-new Allstate Studio -- redesigned for the big January 6 CBS Sports Network launch.
First the focus was on Rex Ryan, as the fiery head coach will back on the Jets' sideline next season after finishing the year with an impressive 20-7 win over the Dolphins and a somewhat astounding record of 8-8.
Boomer and Craig both agree with the decision to bring Rexy back, now the pressure is on second-year GM John Idzik to put a roster in place.
Tom Coughlin also survived, despite a 7-9 record and another season where the Giants didn't make the playoffs. Now the attention turns to offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride and defensive coordinator Perry Fewell. Fewell has reportedly drawn interest from the Washington Redskins for their head coaching vacancy, which prompted a discussion on the NFL's Rooney Rule.
