Today C-Lo's thing began with the story from the Alex Rodriguez-MLB appeal hearing, which wrapped up Thursday, leaving it up to the arbitrator to decide what happens next. Neither A-Rod nor Bud Selig were present and we probably won't have a verdict until sometime in January.
Shifting focus to the NFL locals, as Tom Coughlin is doing his best to get the Giants focused on the task at hand, said task being Tony Romo and the 5-5 Cowboys who will be coming to MetLife stadium Sunday afternoon. From the Dallas side, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones gave his head coach Jason Garrett a vote of confidence, going on the record and saying he will be the head coach next season - so there's that.
As for the Jets, Rex Ryan opened up his media session yesterday by hurling praise in the direction of his rookie quarterback Geno Smith for what he described as a good day of practice.
Plus, the Saints imrpoved to 9-2 after kicking off NFL Week 12 with a 17-13 win over the Falcons and a good effort by the Rangers in Dallas led to a 3-2 win for the Blueshirts...
