After Boomer & Carton were through breaking down the NFL free agency picture, the "update maven" that is Jerry Recco did his thing Wednesday morning.

Jerry had the latest on the expected signings, including the Giants closing in on top cornerback Janoris Jenkins, and then segued to the Knicks and Nets, who both still stink. But not all was lost. We did learn that Carmelo Anthony is one of the best Denver Nuggets of all-time.

In addition, four more college basketball teams punched their ticket to the NCAA tournament and the Rangers and Islanders both won Tuesday night.
