Boomer & Carton: A Distant Boomer, Woody Adds To Jets Fodder And Yanks Continue To Roll
With Boomer on the road doing his portion of this morning's radio show from Denver, there was a little distance between the Blonde Bomber and his radio partner Craigie -- which the Booms didn't seem to mind.
Boomer was in the Mile High City to call tonight's Ravens-Broncos game on the radio (you can listen on WFAN 660 AM and 101.9 FM), while Craig held things down in the Allstate Studio. The splintered Dynamic Radio Duo got things started with some talk about the Jets, after owner Woody Johnson (pictured) made some inflammatory comments about Mark Sanchez's shoulder injury, insinuating that perhaps he could have done more to protect himself, and also declared the Jets' quarterback competition to be ongoing. Plenty to talk about there.
In addition to the latest drama surrounding Gang Green, the guys briefly discussed tonight's aforementioned tussle in Denver before getting to those streaking Yankees, who finished off a three-game sweep of the White Sox and will now prepare for an all-important four-game series with the AL East-leading Boston Red Sox.
As a sports fan, ya' gotta love this time of year -- Boomer and Craig sure do...
