Boomer & Carton: 25 Years Ago Today...
Wednesday's Open
It was 25 years ago today when our uncle Booms and his Cincinnati Bengals (Who Dey!) fell to the legendary Joe Montana and the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XXIII, which Craig was sure to bring up while beginning today's action-packed radio program.
I think it's safe to assume that Boomer wasn't thrilled with the manner in which Craig got the ball rolling today, but he is a professional and really had no choice but to deal with it. After once again coming to grips with the fact that if he wants to go to Disneyland he will have to pay his own way, Boomer did mention that a Fudgie the Whale would make him feel a little better - 'Tommy can you hear me' - so there's that.
Some more Alex Rodriguez drama, Mike Woodson confronts Tyson Chandler and the Islanders' big win over the Rangers leaves Boomer conflicted...
