Body Found Near East River In Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A woman's body was found Saturday in Queens near the East River, authorities siad.
Police discovered the body around 11 a.m. in the area of Astoria Park South and Shore Boulevard.
Officials say she was lying on some rocks, and was unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.
The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner's office.
