Blake Shelton's Protégé RaeLynn From 'The Voice' Signs To Republic Nashville

The perky country singer America fell in love with on NBC's The Voice will be making an even bigger splash in the country world. It was announced Friday that RaeLynn has signed with Republic Nashville.

RaeLynn first made waves as a member of Team Blake on The Voice and soon skyrocketed within the country world becoming Miranda Lambert's own little protégé. Though she won't be 'Baby Annie' (of Pistol Annies) like she had hoped, RaeLynn will be recording her own first album soon.

After teasing the announcement via twitter @RaeLynnOfficial, she was finally cleared to proclaim the news!

"RaeLynn stole the hearts of so many on The Voice and we are thrilled to announce her on the Republic Nashville label," Republic Nashville President and Big Machine Label Group EVP Jimmy Harnen said. "We are excited and proud to share her amazing talents with the Country music community and beyond."

Recently, RaeLynn & Miranda sat down and wrote a new song together called "Lies" but no word on whether the track will be on RaeLynn's new album.

Though RaeLynn didn't make it past the battle rounds on The Voice, she's been accepted into the country world with open arms. She even has the help of Miranda Lambert and will be joining the "Over You" singer on a few of her 2012 tour dates and as well as performing on the Blake Shelton cruise this November.

RaeLynn will make her debut at the Crown Royal Presents the "Your Hero's Name Here" 400 at the Brickyard Powered by BigMachineRecords.com on July 29 beside some of her labelmates.
