Bomb Threats Cause Evacuations At At Least 7 Schools In Bergen County

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - At least seven schools have been evacuated in Bergen County, N.J. Friday morning due to bomb threats.

Englewood, Paramus Catholic, Teaneck, Cliffside Park, Mahwah, Waldwick, Hackensack, Fort Lee and Oradell schools were impacted.

The schools were searched, according to the Bergen County Sheriff's Office.

Officials gave the all-clear a short time later.

Investigators said a similar series of bomb threats last week was a "swatting" prank.
