New York is widely regarded as a 'baseball town' but you certainly wouldn't know by looking at the local papers lately.  Both the Jets and the Giants have been dominating the headlines, unfortunately for all the wrong reasons.  This morning the guys talked about Rex Ryan's plea to reel in his team that according to him has been embarrassing the organization and its owner Woody Johnson.  With that said, Ryan would not say definitively whether or not Braylon Edwards would get on the field this Sunday night against the Dolphins.  It was that statement that told Craigie everything he needed to know, the Jets have adopted a win at all costs attitude and he is conflicted on how that makes him feel.  Tom Coughlin talked with Antrel Rolle and Brandon Jacobs for their recent incidents, Rolle calling out the organization Monday here on the FAN when he was on with Joe and Evan, and Jacobs for throwing his helmet into the stands during last Sunday night's blowout loss to Peyton Manning and the Colts.  Not to be outdone though, the Mets managed to garner some ink as Francisco 'K-Rod' Rodriguez was slapped with seven new charges after his texting frenzy and Craig thinks the man may have magical healing powers…

Plus, an update from Jerry and a admission from Craig, Fox football analyst Brian Billick joins the fun, Craig's Iron Chef pal Donatello Arpaia tries to explain herself, we hear from our penmanship challenged intern John, Joe Girardi gets a cackle, the 'hilarious' Nick Cannon stopped by, Jerry's Moment of the Day and a very strong 'Attention Grabber' to wrap things up…

Jerry got his first update of the day started by filling us in on the latest details from the fiasco created by Braylon Edwards' arrest early Tuesday morning.  Craig admitted that the fan in him wants Edwards out there on Sunday night against the Dolphins, but as a parent and a responsible adult, he thinks he should be punished.  The Yankees and the Mets both lost and Craig compliments Jerry on how he looked, that is until he caught a glimpse of the white head on his face…

Brian Billick joined the guys to talk about a whole host of subjects pertaining to the NFL.  They got things started by discussing the latest on the Jets and Edwards and the Giants, who have their own problems to deal with.  As always, Billick had some pretty interesting things to say and he even offered up some advice to Rex Ryan as to how to handle Edwards' playing time this Sunday night…

Al does a great job producing this thing we've come to know as the Boomer & Carton Morning Experience, well we learned today he may be lookin' to branch out, but that all depends if he can land this special guest Craig would like to talk to.  If Al does choose to move on, it shouldn't be too hard to find a replacement, take our intern John for example, who is a senior at Hofstra University.  The guys wanted to talk to John after he left a note for Al that was just about illegible regarding having Harlem Globetrotter legend Meadowlark Lemon on the Show…

Nick Cannon host a morning show on one of our sister stations, 92.3 NOW, and he is hilarious, so Boomer and Craig invited him in this morning.  Actually Boomer and Craig will be joining Nick tonight at the Hard Rock Café in an event to benefit the Children's Miracle Network.  You may or may not know this, but Nick is married to Mariah Carey (Helloooo) and he informed the guys of their role playing games, like the one when they dress up like fire fighters…Ummmmmm…Let that one settle in for a moment or two…
