After the Mets won an extra-inning affair in Houston last night by a score of 3-2, Craigie wants to know if there is actually a Mets fan out there that still cares about this team??? Steve Phillips was along for the ride this morning and he and Craig discussed Jerry Manuel's decision to let R.A. Dickey pitch into the 9th inning. It didn't take very long for Steve to get comfortable working on the Morning Show, without going onto specific examples; I'll just say he 'gets it'. John Smoltz was up early this morning to play golf, which is not an uncommon occurrence. Armed with this knowledge, Al Dukes booked him to join the Program just before 7 o'clock. Craig was very outspoken yesterday regarding the New Giants organization's decision to sell their remaining single game tickets via Ticketmaster. Today the Giants President, CEO and co-owner of the team, John Mara called in to defend his organizations decision to team-up with Ticketmaster to sell their remaining tickets, sans PSL's. Craig also offered to sit with Mr. Mara on September 12th, when Big Blue opens up the new Meadowlands against the Carolina Panthers. Surprisingly, Mara politely declined…
