The Yankees honored their late 'Boss' George Steinbrenner last night at the Stadium with a rather large monument and then got a rather large win over the Rays, extending their lead in the AL East over Tampa Bay to 1.5 games. Now neither Boomer nor Craig are real Yankee fans if you will, but they did recognize how special the moment was. Former Bomber's Skipper Joe Torre was on hand, along with Don Mattingly. Mattingly will replace Torre as the LA Dodgers Manager following the season and armed with that knowledge a couple of keen media members asked Torre about the possibility of managing across town with the Mets and the 70 year old New Yorker didn't rule it out. Boomer and Craig talk about all of it and also announce that the TGFTY (Thank God for the Yankees) bracelets will hit stores today…

Plus, Jerry 'Rello' Recco is in a better mood today, Craig imagines a bronze statue of himself and the Blonde Bomber, the guys act out a scene from 'The Godfather', BREAKING NEWS – Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards busted for DWI early this morning in Manhattan, WFAN's Jets beat reporter Peter Schwartz calls in, David Wright joins the program, Craig gets chased around the studio by Boomer in Jerry's Moment of the Day and a ultra-attractive 'Attention Grabber' that is sure to knock your freakin' socks off…
Boomer and Craig were not thrilled with Jerry yesterday for bringing his foul mood with him to work. Jerry got the message loud and clear and this morning he was all smiles and did his job while grinning from ear to ear. Craig too was sporting a permanent smile because he realized that with both of Boomer's kids off at Boston College, that he is now Boom's go to guy as far as attending Rangers games at the Garden. Funny though, because Boomer hadn't given that possibility too much thought…

Taking a break, sorta, from the Edwards talk, the guys welcomed the face of the NY Mets franchise, third basemen David Wright to the Program. They of course asked Wright about the Edwards arrest to get the perspective of a young, rich athlete with more temptations than the regular guy could even fathom. Wright was very forthcoming in his answers about Edwards and Craig even grilled Wright about the state of the Mets, including his thoughts on the futures of Jerry Manuel and Francisco 'K-Rod' Rodriguez…
