B&C Morning Show: Sandy Makes Its Presence Felt
A day after megastorm Sandy ripped through New York City, Boomer and Craig made their way into the Allstate Studio to do their job. On Tuesday, that meant providing comfort and a welcome distraction, albeit brief, from the madness that surrounds us.
The Dynamic Radio Duo opened this edition of the Morning Extravaganza talking about the aforementioned Sandy, of course, with the WFAN studios running on generators as lower Manhattan is without electricity.
The guys praised the countless news teams that risked life and limb in order to provide top-notch coverage of the captivating storm, and even managed to work in a few sports stories.
Amar'e Stoudemire is out for the foreseeable future with a left knee injury, Rex Ryan is talking about finding new ways to use Tim Tebow, the Giants continue to 'hum along' as they prepare to take on the Steelers Sunday at MetLife Stadium and the Yankees pick up the options on both Robinson Cano and Curtis Granderson.
So all of that provided some sense of normalcy in these abnormal times...
