After all of that excitement, Jerry Recco got things started with the latest PED scandal surrounding Alex Rodriguez, before moving on to the action on the field, which was highlighted by a Mark Teixeira three-run homer in a 4-3 Yanks win over the Indians.
We listened to the unmistakable radio duo of John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman call -- and react -- to the Teixeira long ball, which prompted Craigie to have a reaction of his own.
As for the Mets, they got a solid performance from an emotional Jeremy Hefner, but thanks to a Bobby Parnell implosion, they ended up losing, 3-2, to the Nationals. Afterward, Terry Collins provided some entertaining comments on his closer's shaky outing.
