B&C Morning Show: Old News In Gooden's Book Excerpts
Dwight Gooden has a book -- 'Doc: A Memoir' -- being released on June 4 (the same day as 'Loudmouth: Tales (and Fantasies) of Sports, Sex and Salvation from Behind the Microphone' by Craig Carton) and as is usually the case, some excerpts have been released.
Generally these excerpts are juicy anecdotes, strategically released to create a buzz with the hopes of boosting sales for the book. Well the story of Gooden missing the 1986 Mets World Series parade because he was in the Long Island projects getting high is certainly a juicy one...
But Doc told it on the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza way back in May of 2011...
