B&C Morning Show: Mariano Gets His Due, Then Gets Beat
Prior to last night's Subway Series Game 2 - after Jeff Wilpon all but conceded the season - the Mets honored Mariano Rivera by asking him to throw out the first pitch in what would be his final regular season game at Citi Field.
From there things got dicey, first by a rain delay, then by a shaky performance by the honored one as Mo coughed up the lead without recording a single out (a career first). And for the second night in a row, the Mets earned a hard-fought 2-1 win.
