B&C Morning Show: Knicks Legend Earl 'The Pearl' Monroe Stops By
With the Knicks currently streaking toward the playoffs, Boomer and Craig were thrilled to have the legendary Earl 'The Pearl' Monroe in the Allstate Studio with them this morning to talk some hoops.
The threesome started with the present day Knicks, a group Monroe believes are good enough to make a run. In the same breath, 'The Pearl' is not ready to say that Carmelo and the gang would have been able to beat his NBA championship 1972-73 team. He also strongly feels that Craig's guy Bernard King deserves to be in the Hall of Fame -- and believes it'll happen soon.
Before saying goodbye, Monroe agreed to dinner with the guys and managed to work in one last plug, a tasty one at that...
