B&C Morning Show: Jets Set Their Sights On An Olympian; Boomer Calls An Audible
With their depleted core of wide-receivers, the New York Jets have their sights set on an Olympic Track & Field star. Jeff Demps played with Tim Tebow at the University of Florida. Jeff Demps (pictured) helped the United States win a silver medal in the 4x400 meter relay at the 2012 London Olympics (although he did not race in the final - he did play a role during the preliminary round). Demps also helped the Florida Gators win a National Championship in 2009 while playing running back. Now he will try to make the adjustment to NFL football, an adjustment Boomer doesn't think will be very easy.
While talking about the trials & tribulations of learning an NFL offensive system, Boomer seemed to have no problem getting back into the QB mode and offered a few examples of what actually goes into calling a play in the huddle and an audible at the line of scrimmage...
