Before turning it over to Jerry Recco for his first update of the morning, Boomer and Craig discussed the upcoming Home Run Derby -- which will take place Monday, July 15 at Citi Field -- after we got word that the American League Captain, Robinson Cano, is scrambling to find a replacement after his first selection suddenly pulled out!
Jerry's update then began with the Mets, after their 16-inning affair with the Giants in San Francisco ended with a, 4-3, victory and yet another no-decision for Matt Harvey -- which makes 10 for those of you counting at home. Speaking of Harvey, word is that he's got a blister on his pitching hand, blue eyes that pop and a body that he loves.
Plus, the Yanks were stymied by the Royals on a rainy night in the Bronx, falling 5-1.
