B&C Morning Show: Cruz Gets His Deal, Jeter Gets Humbled, Rex Gets Running And More
Boomer and Craig opened up this Tuesday edition of the Morning Extravaganza with a story that appears to have reached a positive conclusion. Victor Cruz and the New York Giants have reached an agreement which will make the salsa-dancing receiver a member of Big Blue for the foreseeable future.
The Booms and Craigie praised both Cruz and the Giants organization for the manner in which both sides handled themselves throughout the negotiations, before moving on to the apparent growing hatred between Derek Jeter and Yankees GM Brian Cashman.
Word is that Jeter let Cashman know he feels good and wants to return to the Yanks "right now," only to be "put in his place" by Cashman, who made it pretty clear that he is calling the shots in the Bronx.
In addition to all of that goodness, Rex Ryan was running with the bulls while vacationing in Pamplona, David Robertson wants to represent the Yankees in the 2013 All-Star Game, the Rangers and Ryan McDonagh also agree on a new deal (to Boomer's delight) and the Mets went late, beating the San Francisco Giants in 16 innings...
