B&C Morning Show: Boomer Is Back, Baby!
Boomer decided to show up for work today, and shortly after 6 a.m. the Blonde Bomber took the seat next to his little buddy Craig in the Allstate Studio -- and things just felt right.
Although it didn't take long for the Booms to wish he was still on vacation, Craig was all sorts of excited to have Boomer back by his side, perhaps a bit too excited.
Anyway, the Dynamic Radio Duo wasted no time getting things started, beginning with the Jets, as Rex Ryan is still not tipping his hand with regards to who will be his starting quarterback when Week 1 rolls around and the Jets will take on the Buccaneers.
In addition to the drama that continues to encompass Rex and his Gang Green, the Yankees were on the table this morning after they beat the Blue Jays 7-1, thanks to a few long-balls off the bats of Alfonso Soriano, Mark Reynolds and Alex Rodriguez. The Mets also were victorious, a 5-0 win over the Phillies. Earlier in the day, Mets GM Sandy Alderson pulled off a deal that sent Marlon Byrd and John Buck to the Pirates.
So with Boomer back in the saddle, things were back to normal - as normal as they can be anyway...
