B&C Morning Show: All A-Rod All Day
The guys were live at Jets camp in Florham Park today, but it was impossible to not open the show with the No. 1 sports story of the weekend. Alex Rodriguez's dispute with the Yankees took a crazy turn at the end of last week when A-Rod's attorney, Joseph Tacopina, charged the Yanks with some major accusations about the way they handled some of Alex's injuries. Those accusations sparked a major war of the words over the weekend between the two camps.
Then there was Sunday night. Red Sox pitcher Ryan Dempster threw at A-Rod two times before finally hitting him. Rodriguez's manager and teammates ran to his rescue, which makes this situation even more bizarre.
Boomer said the A-Rod beaning really kick-started a series that was pretty ho-hum prior to that. Craig believes Girardi did the right thing getting tossed and feels this could be the moment that sends the Yankees on a magical run to the postseason.
