B&C Morning Show: Al Dukes' Evening That Could've Been; Jerry's Update That Was
Al Dukes ventured out last night to attend Craig's book release party over at Boomer Esiason's Stadium Grill and, according to him, had he not had to leave early in order to go to sleep, he would have "killed it with the ladies."
Jerry Recco filled us in on Al's perception of the evening, then got to delivering his first update of the morning, which was chalk full of goodness, beginning with the Spurs' 92-88 Game 1 win over the Heat.
Tony Parker stole the show with an improbable bank shot in the final seconds as the shot clock expired, and prior to the game, while promoting his book on a web TV show called "The Sports Verdict," Carton provided some spot-on analysis with regards to the Tim Duncan/Chris Bosh matchup (sports guys!!!).
Plus, George Karl is fired by the Denver Nuggets, the Yanks win, 6-1, in Seattle, and afterwards, Robinson Cano lets Suzyn Waldman know exactly how "big it is" -- speaking about his third inning, three-run home run. Joe Girardi says to keep the long balls coming and Alex Rodriguez releases a statement.
