After a hot one yesterday, we're in for another scorcher today! And if you're wondering about potential record highs, we've got them... could see a new record in Central Park! Stay cool out there!
It will stay quiet into tonight, but warmth and humidity will linger. Temps will only fall into the mid 70s by sunrise.
We'll tap into more of a southerly wind tomorrow, but we're still expecting to heat up nicely... right around 90°. Whether we hit 90° or not though, it's going to feel like the mid 90s because of the humidity... downright tropical!
It will still feel sticky into Thursday and we should see the return of some much-needed rain! We're expecting showers and thunderstorms, so some areas will get more than others, but the ground is thirsty around here, so we'll take what we can get!
And after our wet weather swings through, we should see some clearing into Friday with drier and less humid conditions.
Check back for more details on the remainder of the week!
