L.I. Man Charged Under Leandra's Law
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- A father on Long Island was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday on felony charges after he was arrested for driving under the influence with children in the car.
Investigators said 34-year old Dominic Tola was stopped by police around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Lake Grove for talking on his cell phone.
Police said he was under the influence of drugs. His 16-year-old son and a neighbor's 12-year-old son were also in the car.
Tola was charged with a felony under Leandra's Law.
