83-Year-Old Man Dies In Upper East Side Fire
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- An elderly man is dead after an overnight fire in an Upper East Side high-rise.
Flames broke out at the building on Park Avenue between 74th and 75th streets just after midnight. Investigators say 83-year-old Howard Bogard was pronounced dead at the scene.
An 80-year-old woman was treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
