8/1 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines

Good Monday morning everybody! Gonna be another muggy, mostly cloudy, and unsettled day... so keep the umbrella around! Expect a high of only 80 degrees with a few showers & thunderstorms during the day. Any storms that fire up could be locally heavy.

Expect a few more thunderstorms tonight into early tomorrow morning, but then we'll start to get some sunshine later tomorrow afternoon. It'll be another day below normal with a high of only 79.

Things look great for the rest of the work week with sunshine returning and temps getting back into the mid and upper 80s. As of now looks like rain holds off until Friday night.
