6/2 CBS2 Tuesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Stray showers will pass through the remainder of the afternoon, but we won't see much intensity with these... more of a nuisance than anything. The thick cloud cover and northeast winds will keep temps down again today... upper 50s at best.

Clouds will linger into tonight with just a shower here or there south of the city, but it will be generally quiet and cool again. Low in the low 50s.

We'll finally see some brightening tomorrow, especially across our northern suburbs. Temperatures will rebound a bit, as well, with highs in the upper 60s.

Unfortunately, some extra clouds creep back into our area on Thursday with just a slight chance of showers, especially across our west/south suburbs. Highs will be right around 70°.

Friday we run the risk of seeing a shower/storm in the afternoon. Highs will be warmer in the upper 70s.
