6/11 CBS2 Thursday Morning Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good morning everyone!

It's a warm start to a hot day. We should hit our first 90-degree day in New York City. Those living in New Jersey could see the mid-90s. It will be cooler over the ocean due to water temps that are stuck in the 60s at best.

A stray storm could rear its head this afternoon, but it will be an isolated incident.

Friday, we heat up again into the upper 80s but there is a greater risk for storms.

Saturday is hot still with a chance for storms too. Sunday, we cool down and lower the humidity.

Monday and Tuesday are forecast to be cooler with some rain.

Check back in soon for the latest.
