4/9 CBS2 Wednesday Afternoon Weather Headlines
By Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist
Much like yesterday, the remainder of the afternoon will be cool and grey with a stray pocket of drizzle. High in the mid 40s.
A few showers will pass through tonight... fog develops late. Low near 41°.
Morning showers will give way to some breaks of sun (especially inland). All the while, a milder air mass will invade sending temperatures into the 70s S&W of the city by the afternoon; 50s will be the story along the coast and to the east. An approaching cold front will then touch off some showers and storms in the afternoon with the most active period expected to be during the rush. Highs will be nearly 20° warmer than today.... mid 60s!
A cooler air mass will settle in behind the front on Saturday, but the good news is, it will be nice and quiet. Expect sunshine, a few clouds, breezy conditions, and a high of around 60°.
Sunday's looking like a winner as well, but it will be a bit chilly in the morning. High in the low 60s.
Check back for more on the rain and weekend!
