4/19 CBS2 Tuesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

We'll see more in the way of sunshine this afternoon as higher pressure continues to fill in; it will also be a little breezy out there with low relative humidity values. That said, the National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning (elevated fire risk) that will remain in effect through late this afternoon. Outside of that, it should be a rather enjoyable afternoon! Expect highs to be a little cooler than yesterday in the low 70's.

High pressure will continue to settle in tonight along with a cooler air mass. Expect clear skies and temperatures to be a bit cooler than last night in the mid 40's.
Tomorrow will be a rather familiar day with sunshine and nearly cloud-free skies. And while it will start off a little cool, we'll bounce back nicely into the mid to upper 60's.

We'll get a big push out of the south and west on Thursday out ahead of our next system. It looks as though the rain will hold off and we'll see a decent amount of sunshine. Expect highs to be a bit warmer that day in the mid 70's.
As for Friday, it looks like we'll finally see some wet weather after a rather dry stretch.
