Good morning everybody, let's get right to it... we'll have a record warm day with plenty of sun and temps soaring into the mid 70s! A high of 74 in Central Park will smash the previous record of 69. Some spots in New Jersey may get close to 80!

Things will be very warm again tomorrow, albeit with a few more clouds especially over our northernmost suburbs. That's also where the best chance for late day showers will be, along with cooler temps. In NYC though, looks like we'll hit 73, and again there could be a few warmer spots farther inland.

We'll cool off just a bit Friday, but we'll still reach the low 60s in New York. The weekend ahead will feature upper 50s to around 60 along with a few rain showers, so enjoy the gorgeous warm sunshine while you can!
