3/22 CBS2 Sunday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Matt DeLucia, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good Afternoon!

We're still dealing with below normal temps for the first several days of spring. While you can expect plenty of sunshine over the next few days, it will be chilly out there. Going for a high of 40 in Central Park this afternoon, but it will be feeling more like the 20s and 30s with NW winds at 10-20 mph, gusting to 30 mph.

Mostly clear skies tonight, but very cold for this time of year. We'll drop into the mid 20s in the city and the teens in the NW suburbs. Still blustery overnight, and we'll have wind chills in the singles and teens as you head out tomorrow morning. Definitely not spring-like around here!

Even a little colder for Monday, with highs struggling to reach the upper 30s under bright skies. Hard to believe normal for this time of year is the low 50s! The good news is we will have a brief taste of this come mid-week.

We warm into the mid 40s on Tuesday, and around 50 by Wednesday. Thursday looks to be the warmest of the week, with a high of 58 in NYC and even some low 60s to the south! Unfortunately, this will be accompanied by some wet weather... at least with temps like that, it'll definitely be all rain.

Looks like the colder air returns to close out the week, back into the 40s. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
