Taking a look at who's hot and who's not on the NY/NJ sports landscape:

THREE UP:

1. Islanders

They're back on track, winning three of their last four games. After a brief hiatus, they're once again atop the Metropolitan Division standings.

2. Rangers

The Rangers have won four of six, and have picked up at least a point in five of those games. The Blueshirts are hot on the Isles' trail; just four points separate the two squads.

3) Barclays and MSG

NYC gets set to host the NBA's All-Star festivities. You might want to nab some tickets, because it's the only time you'll get to see NBA basketball in New York this season.

THREE DOWN:

1. James Dolan

First, he was exposed for sending a ridiculously immature response to a fan email. Now, there's a group of fans who've launched a website petitioning for Dolan to sell the Knicks. That's what you call a bad week.

2. A-Rod

Rodriguez apologized to the Yankees on Tuesday for everything he's done. A bit late, don't you think?

3. Islanders' Penalty Kill

New York surrendered two more power-play goals, this time to the hapless Edmonton Oilers. The Isles' PK is clicking at a rate of just 72.5 percent, which is the worst in the NHL. This is a major issue, and one that will have magnified repercussions come playoff time.
