2/29 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines

Good Monday morning folks! We're going to have another very mild day on this Leap Day, with temps again soaring into the 50s and hitting 60 in NYC! We'll have a few morning showers but after lunchtime, nothin' but sun!

Tomorrow will kick off the month of March with more sunshine, but temps will take a bit of a dip. We'll still be in the low & mid 50s around town, so it will be a pleasant day overall.

We'll have our next chance for rain moving in Wednesday, and with temps in the mid 50s, looks like it'll be all rain. There could even be some downpours, thunder, and gusty winds like last week, so we'll monitor this storm to see if anything more severe could develop.

Temps will cool down big time to end the week with temps in the mid 30s to low 40s, and we're watching a storm pass off the coast. Will it bring any precip to our area? Stay tuned to find out!
