2 Hurt After Van Jumps Curb In Manhattan

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two people were injured after a van jumped a curb on the East Side.

The Access-A-Ride vehicle went out of control on East 34th Street just before 9 a.m. Thursday, police said.

The van plowed into a building and inspectors are on the scene to check the structure's stability.

Of the two people hurt, one was seriously injured and is being treated at Bellevue Hospital, CBS 2 has learned.
