1/4 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines
By Mark McIntyre

Good Monday morning everybody. Today marks the return to work and school for many, and if you do have to head out, bundle up! Temperatures area-wide are below freezing with winds making it feel like the teens. We'll have plenty of sun today, but it really won't help. Expect the first sub-freezing high temperatures in Central Park since last March.
If you can believe it, things get even colder tonight. The core of the Arctic air takes hold into tomorrow with single digit temps well outside NYC -- it looks like NYC will get down to 16 degrees. We haven't been that cold since last February. Expect temperatures to top out at 30 in NYC, but many folks far north and west might not even hit 25 degrees. Again, with the wind chills, it will feel way colder.
Things will warm back up heading into the remainder of the week, back into the mid and upper 40s with mainly dry conditions and less wind. Another bit of good news is that it appears our next chance for rain holds off until Friday night.
Check back soon and stay warm!
