Chef Katie Busch will start your meal with Butternut Squash Soup with cinnamon crème fraîche, and for the main course serve Maple Glazed Turkey with spicy sausage brioche stuffing, potato puree, and caramelized Brussels sprouts. For dessert, she'll craft Pumpkin Tart with bacon and chestnuts.
The Latin American-inspired French restaurant a few blocks from the Barclays Center, will offer innovative takes on Turkey Day dishes. Executive Chef Patrick Allouache will serve Braised Turkey and Buckwheat Flour Tacos topped with pickled butternut squash and jalapenos and Butternut Squash and Red Curry Soup with foie gras croutons.
David Bouley's lauded restaurant Brushstroke will offer an eight-course Thanksgiving tasting menu ($135). Expect once-in-a-lifetime culinary experiences rooted in Japanese tradition, with a progressive sensibility. The menu will feature ingredients like fresh fish and seasonal vegetables. MexiBBQ in Astoria is taking a hiatus from Mexican-meets-Southern barbecue fare on Thanksgiving to offer a traditional three-course menu for $25 with beer or wine included for a special holiday deal! Executive Chef Jonathan VanSleet will serve Pumpkin Bisque, a traditional Turkey Plate and an Apple Crisp for dessert. This tourist favorite in Midtown is a great choice for locals to enjoy a family Thanksgiving, whether you are dining in or taking out. The restaurant is temporarily forgoing its Southern Italian roots in favor of a menu that focuses on iconic American dishes like Sweet Potatoes topped with marshmallows and maple syrup. And it's the more the merrier at Carmine's, as the Family-Style Feast for $225 can feed up to eight people and stars an 18-pound Roasted Turkey with giblet gravy and sausage-sage stuffing. Takeout orders must be placed by Tuesday and dinners may be picked up as late as Wednesday, November 21st at 8 pm.
Dig into a Thanksgiving feast for $225 at Virgil's. This family affair is available for both dine-in and take-out, with barbecue and Southern comfort food taking center stage.
