12/27 CBS2 Sunday Morning Weather Headlines

Good morning everybody! We're starting off around 50 degrees with clouds and some fog. We'll warm up nicely today under mainly cloudy skies into the 60s with records possible. The magic number in NYC is 63 and we're calling for 65, so it should be another one for the books.

Then big changes ahead. We'll have a bitter chill tomorrow with a high of only 44 and a chill in the 30s. Then Monday night we'll have a storm bringing a mixed bag of precip, our first winter storm of the season! Folks north and west of the city should start off with sleet, snow and freezing rain. Everyone changes to rain Tuesday morning as temps rise through the 40s to near 50 in NYC, but we could have a windy soaker Tuesday afternoon. We're unsettled the rest of the week with temps in the upper 40s and low 50s.
