11/28 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines

Good Monday morning everybody! Hope the holiday weekend was enjoyable and relaxing! Expect a nice day ahead with sunshine giving way to late clouds. It'll be seasonably cool with a high of 51 in NYC and upper 40s for the 'burbs.
A storm system will approach the area from the west and will bring a much needed soaking tomorrow through Thursday. There will be breaks in the action, so it won't be a 72 hour deluge, but expect rain to fall Tuesday, Wednesday night, and early Thursday. Some spots could pick up over 2" of rain... pretty good considering our drought conditions! It'll be mild too with temps in the 60 to 65 degree range all three days... so this is all rain.
Friday will be a day with sunshine and much cooler temps, topping off in the upper 40s. Stay tuned for the latest and make sure the rain gear is ready!
