10/30 CBS2 Friday & Halloween Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis

Expect sunshine, a few clouds, and noticeably cooler air in place this afternoon... struggling to even hit 60°!

It will be chilly tonight with high pressure settling in nicely. So, expect mainly clear skies with temps to fall into the low 40s by daybreak (30s in the suburbs).

After a chilly start to your Halloween, we'll warm you up into the mid 50s. And some high clouds will spill into the area during the afternoon, but all in all, it's looking good for the trick-or-treaters -- just a little on the chilly side.

We can't rule out a shower on Sunday, especially across inland areas, but for the most part, it looks to stay dry. Temps will be running several degrees warmer in the low 60s.

And as of now, there's a chance of rain on Monday, but mainly to our south.
