10/28 CBS2 Wednesday Morning Weather Headlines

Good morning!

It's a wet one out there! Especially if you live south of NYC. Showers will be marching north throughout the morning.

The NWS has issued a Coastal Flood Watch for minor flooding during the hours of high tide between 11am and 2 p.m. Some of the heaviest rain will fall after 2 p.m.

Expect the ride home from work to be wet and windy. The wind gust are going to be incredibly strong as the day goes forth. Some models are indicating near 50 mph gusts on the east end.

Rainfall totals could approach 3" in the hardest hit spots. Take the umbrella to work today and drive slow on the way home!
