10/22 CBS2 Thursday Afternoon Weather Headlines
Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist
We'll soar into the mid 70s again today, but we'll see a mix of sun and clouds as our cold front approaches. And it will stay dry for the most part, but we can't rule out a stray shower as we head into the late afternoon hours.
There will be a slight chance of a passing shower through the early evening hours, and then things will quiet down for the remainder of the night. Temps will be a little cooler around daybreak in the low 50s.
A cool, NW wind will usher in Canadian air through the day tomorrow; and while we'll see plenty of sun, temps will struggle to even hit the 60°... feeling more like autumn, for sure.
High pressure will be slow to move offshore on Saturday. So, expect a mainly sunny start to the day with an increase in clouds during the afternoon hours. Highs will once again struggle to reach 60°.
As for Sunday, we'll see some showers push through during the morning and then we'll quiet down into the afternoon.
Check back for more on this weekend!
